CTOUCH makes touchscreens for schools and businesses. The company takes a different approach, and believes tackling climate change is a necessity. CTOUCH is on a mission to minimise CO2 emissions from its products, aiming to cut its carbon footprint by 60% in 2025.
The touchscreen manufacturer realised that high ambitions can only be achieved by making changes in the value chain. The company therefore decided to gain more insights into their suppliers, potential CSR risks and the original of all materials and components. Following an extensive Life Cycle Assessment (LCA), CTOUCH is now aware which components have the greatest potential for sustainability.
In addition, CTOUCH mapped the tier 1 and tier 2 suppliers of their partners in China. The company then used the CSR Risk Checker to gain more insights regarding potential CSR Risks. By critically reviewing suppliers using the CSR Risk Checker, CTOUCH was able to eliminate CSR risks for its suppliers.
