Op 24 april 2024 werd de Corporate Sustainability Due Diligence Directive (CSDDD) - ook bekend als de Europese ketenzorgplichtwet - goedgekeurd in het Europees Parlement. Maar wat betekent dit precies? En hoe kun jij als bedrijf direct actie ondernemen?
CSRD
In april 2021 nam de Europese Unie de Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) aan. In deze nieuwe richtlijn staat dat bedrijven met 250 of meer medewerkers vanaf 2024 verplicht zijn te rapporteren over de impact van hun activiteiten op mens en milieu. De MVO Risico Checker is hierbij een bruikbare tool.
